tinting side markers?
i would like to have my side markers tinted/painted. how would i go about getting them black during the day but transparent at night? is there any kind of product/paint to do this? has anyone ever had them tinted with window tint?

Dont hold me too this but I believe a while back someone brought up VHT made a paint for this. BEing transparent and all. Might want to look into it. I have been up over 30hrs straight and dont feel like it right now

Some of the sponsors carry it (I think AfterThoughtsAuto has it). I have not used it, but some on here have. Here is what I have learned. When applying it, use thin coats becuase it will run/drip. When its dry, it may look dull but you can clear coat it to make it shiney.

I used VHT Niteshade and it works great, the sidemarkers arent as bright, but still visible when illuminated. Just make sure not to apply too many coats or they wont be visible at night.
