Need Headliner Ideas My headliner in my 99 Z28 is torn
I cant decide what I want to replace it with
Whether I wanna take the stock assembly out, coat it with Fiberglass Resin and paint it black / clearcoat..
Buy a stock unit from Ebay for $75
or replace it with a covered ABS unit.
What is the benefit of ABS vs the Foam? Will it prevent it from ever sagging again?

ive seen ABS headliners not line up properly at all, causing huge gaps in the T-top part.. I managed to grab one for free from a local club member. maybe try a boneyard or check craigslist?
Get the factory replacement. It will look much better and save you the headache. If your shell is still good, use that. Have it recovered and if done right, will last a very long time. If you were to buy one from a part out, that one is probably on borrowed time as well. I'd stay away from the painted thing.
