Leather seat problem (pic)

Leather seat problem (pic) I was treating my seats with Zaino leather cleaner and conditioner a couple weeks back. Well, I think it blotched and dried out the leather on the passenger side headrest for some reason, this dark surface is scaly/rough feeling. I've used the Zaino cleaner/conditioner many times before with 0 issues.
Any suggestions on ways this can be fixed? I know it looks like a small spot but trust me it's worse in person, sticks out so much in the sun. I'm already looking into finding another low mileage ebony leather Camaro seat, I've tried cleaning it and conditioning it many times with no results.

Looks to me like the clear coating is wearing away in that spot. The conditioner will darken any area wear the clear has wore through. If thats the case, the only way to repair that is recoat that area of the seat. Its definately not the Zaino that caused it.

They said it will be like $100-150 but that's a lot cheaper and easier than buying a new seat.
