3rd gen decals question
3rd gen decals question I was wondering if anybody had purchased racing stripes from 3rdgendecals.
If so,
How is the quality of the stripes over time, especially with the sun beating down on them.

I've bought a few sets of stripes and decals from them. They are pretty good but with any vinyl product they are going to show their age much quicker than paint. I would say they will last 2-3 years without showing slight, nearly invisible wear which you could very delicately buff out and a total lifetime of around 7-8 years depending on how you take care of them. I think you will be happy with anything you get from there (design, fitment and quality) but also keep it mind its vinyl and will wear much quicker if exposed to the elements daily but if you keep it garaged I would expect the vinyl to last much much longer, on the verge of 10 years with very good aging qualities. I have vinyls from fourthcircledesigns on right now but at some point I plan on trying to get someone to make a stencil from their design (possibly by them if they are still around) and painting them on when I get the time and money to sand down stock paint, fill in small dents, seal and repaint my car.
