prints on paint

When my truck was muddy somebody ran there fingers over it and it can be seen after it is washed. Will a claybar take this out?

Doubtful. Clay bar will take the contaminants out of the paint, but this sounds like the paint has been scratched.

You will likely need to use a form of compound along with a machine. Such as a PC 7424xp with M105 or M205. Lots of options out there to get rid of it. Also slightly hard to assess the situation without seeing it.

Spd is right. If you can still see it after the truck has been washed it's scratched into the paint. Some dickwad wrote "Wash me" on my friends SS wing on his Camaro once. I hate people.
