Hatch panels

Did they ever make ebony hatch panels ( the left and right trim that covers the spare tire, and cubby) that DID NOT have speaker provisions? Like a base model?

if they did it was custom, AFAIK every fbody has speakers in the hatch, some have 1 speaker on each side, others (like mine) have 2 on each.

mine didnt have speakers in the hatch. i have since replaced them with ebony peices with speakers, but have yet to hook up the speakers

I had a base model v6 without the monsoon system that did not have the speaker hole over the rear deck. Actually both v6 models I had didnt have them. I am pretty sure they were ebony.

I looked through all my old pics and sadly I have no interior pics of my old cars. Hopefully someone had something.

Heres one with no speakers. Its 96 graphite though. Ebony panels look the same except for color.

Probably the 93-97 non Bose or Monsoon systems. the older Bose systems have a speaker grille for a 6" sub on the left side. Monsoon has them on both sides. They are probably out there, go to the dealer and get the part number or find it online somewhere.

if you can find a V6 from 00-02 with ebony interior and non-monsoon then you should be able to get them, but I don't know if the base v6's had ebony as a interior choice.
