i tell u i got some tips on mine that have resonators in them, made the GMMG a LOT deeper and lost a lot of the annoying rasp. i had the slash cuts on just for the ride home but then i put these bad boys on, that were on before, and it sounded tons better id post pics but they are too big of a size

I bought my gmmg without tips. About two weeks worth of searching for tips, I ended up calling gmmg back and bought thier tips. They had no problem sending me the tips later. Nice tips are gonna be expensive

Snyper, I do think those would look small in the rear bumper of a TA. I would go with an oval or dual dual.

Can someone with the GMMG tips measure how wide they are for me? Thanks!

They're big, they were designed to fit the rear bumper of the T/A

Prolly wouldn't look too bad as long as you could get them centered...
Good luck !!!

I'm not crazy about the way the GMMG and the Ractive tips have the normal 2.5" outlet and then the oval is built around it. I'm looking for somthing more of a horn shape like this. This one is 5" wide by Meg's. What do you think?

I have those exact tips on my lt1. i think they cost me $30 each. they only have a 2 1/4 inlet though. not the best pictures buts all i have. i think they look good. But i wouldnt trade my gmmg tips on my ls1 for anything.

Corsa's IMO are by far the best looking tips. But, there's no way I'd pay that much for just tips. My Hooker CB cost less than that

That said, I think I'll probably end up by going with Mechams'. I saw a black TA at a car show once with HUGE single tips. Probably 4/5" around! Believe it or not, they actually looked good. But typing this, it's gonna sound like dual fart cans. Wish I had a pic...

Good thread by the way

Magnaflow 3.5" slash cut stainless.

Why am I the only one that like the look of the old school style slash cut tips?

I thought about the Borla round, dual, intercooled tips. But then again I wanna keep the stock look so when people see the car just sitting in a parking lot or something they think........ "That car looks completely stock...... lets call him out and smoke his ***!" But I would break their poor hearts! too bad those days are over for a while....
