Problem Compounding/Polishing 02 Camaro SS Hello,
I guess this is sort of a distress call. After watching several videos on youtube about compounding and polishing paint; I invested in a HF DA polisher. From there I picked up M105, 205 and Glaze #7 from Meguiars. After wiping down with IPA I discovered horrible swirl marks. I ordered Chemical Guys foam pads and two microfiber pads. While at it i purchased their V line of products. After the package arrived I tried all different combinations of pad and products etc...nothing is working for me. Is there someone close to Richardson who can take a look or offer advice. I've screwed up my black hood pretty good. Thanks!!!

It would probably help if you posted some pictures of the paint before and after? How exactly is it "not working for you"? Did you burn right through the paint? Or is it not cutting/levelling?

Need more info. Photos do help.
Post links of what products you purchased (products, towels, pads, etc...). Post what combinations you tried.
Most of the time it comes down to technique.
By the way you don't need M7 for clear coated paints. M205 has enough polishing oils in it.
