Default New ride!!!

Well, I pulled the trigger and bought myself a Z06 to go with the WS6. I waited around for awhile to find the right car and ended up with a '01 Speedway White/Mod red car. 1 of 137 built! It has been very lightly modded (intake, catback, MGW shifter) and obviously lowered and its wheels are dipped. Cant wait to have some fun modding this one up! Pics...

Nice find Matt. You need some nice CCW wheels for this one too. Any idea on future mods? I know you've got a game plan.

I'm actually going to see if the 505a's will bolt up. I did some measuring and it appears that the rears are going to stick out .5" in the back. I'm going to throw one on this weekend and see how it looks. As far as mods are concerned, I am thinking blower...

Real nice car, I love the interior!

Why are the inner tips more sooty then the outer? Is it a tunable exhaust like a Borla?

I'm thinking that the inner outlets have a bit more flow than the outer. My TA's exhaust is similar...I get more "soot" coming out of the left tips than the right.

Looks great, congrats on the rare find and cant wait to see you what you come up with.

as for the tips i would guess due to the way exhaust is routed on the C5 the inner tips probably get more of the exhaust flow as they are the path of least resistance/restriction

edit; ninja'd

Gotcha! I know my T/A is that way also.

Nice car!

Would love to do wide body fenders, but I think I am going to try and fit as much rubber as possible under the stock setup.

my biggest issue with the Z06's is how they screwed up the body lines with the rear window change from the regular vettes. really wish I had that kind of money to blow, I would love to own a c5 one day.

you need to CETA mod the vette to match the T/A.

Thats my favorite part of the Z06. I think all Vettes need to do away with the hatch.

My exact dream C5. Bravo. Enjoy it.

As a side note, we are seeing huge gains from the A&A kit. Fit and finish is spot on as well. I'm a huge fan of the satin black setup. We picked up 270whp and 190wtq with the A&A kit, full exhaust, and injectors. Didn't even crack the motor open. Stock it put down 310/324, it left with 579/516.
