hood inert

does anybody know the gm part number for the ss hood air insert? or after market that wont damage paint . thanks the oldman....

I'm guessing Classic Industries or Hawks Third Gen has them available.

The one from Hawks is complete ****. Don't suggest to them it may not fit because they will accuse your hood of being a fake!

Hawks on the right, OEM on the left

Hawks on the top, OEM on the bottom:

The curve and the length is not a factory match and makes it fit like ****. Plus its flimsy.

I put my Hawks one in this weekend . It snapped in perfectly and fits with no gap what so ever. Can't beat it for 30$ shipped.
