Can these led 3rd brake lights be taken apart to change individual LED's, change the color of the reflector inside, etc?

How difficult are they to disassemble?

So has anyone looked closely at their light to see if it can easily be taken apart? I like the smoked housing version but I don't like the chrome reflector around the LED's in it. It would be nice to be able to take them apart and paint the chrome reflector black.
