parts on door panel interchangable? I have a spare door panel from a base Firebird that has a small piece and the speaker grill is separate. what I was asking about is the piece that goes the length of the door and includes the speakers on the Trans Ams, is that piece interchangeable? hard to swap out? Thanks.
from having torn apart a standard base firebird door panel and comparing it to a trans am door panel I can't see any reason that whole piece couldn't be "transplanted" but I think the carpet/leather inlay has to be swapped to because of how it fits around the speaker pod, the issue comes is how it connects to the rest of the panel, you'll need to be able to do "plastic welding" to attach things back together.
