How do you reuphoslter a head rest, like if I've sewn my own headrest how would I get it to close and come together on the bottom? Factory headrests have snaps or clips, would I have to find some of those?

I'm willing to bet that on the clips they'll be available from classic industries, Year One, and hawks third gen parts.
Good luck bro.

I used to design the equipment to assemble seats.
You likely are looking for what is called a J Clip.

I had designed a a mechanical compression device to assist the line workers to assemble the head rest without a bag to save money. The common practice was to put a plastic bag over the head rest and use vacuum to pull the air out of the bag letting the atmosphere compress the foam. Then you pull the cover over it and release the vacuum to let the go back to normal. The bag gets tucked into the head rest, close the j clip.
Good luck.

Looks like $4-$6 for all you'd need. The $100 ones are for 75 pcs 60" long. Way more than you need.
Good luck.
