Lol Im perfectly satisfied with the SS. If I go corvette it's gonna be a c6

Yup.

I can afford to be riding around in an Italian car like an LP560 or F430.

My Firehawk has been my primary vehicle since new in 2001 and I'll ALWAYS have it. 😎🇺🇸

I agree with you on the big, w-i-d-e, FLAT oval CMEs, but NO ONE does those valances with 2 BIG, single wall, ROUND pipes (a la; Viper, SRT8 Cherokee, Porsche GT2, etc.) on our rides.

I for one think that would look really good.

We made the clears and sold quite a few. They are just off the site right now because they are very time consuming and we're in the middle of building the truck for SEMA...

Reason for deleting the whole thread? Seems like you guys just gave up on them from everything I read before it was deleted.

from what I remember the issue was never with the lenses themselves, it was the honeycomb that was the hassle, so you would avoid that hassle by having it painted down to just the circles.

We had started a new one just to clean everything up. New one never got traction lol.

Basically the lenses were fine but it took forever to get the honeycomb right.

Finally got it done like this:

Clear Lens we made
Honey Comb PRINTED (cut vinyl just wouldn't lay right) and applied to the INSIDE (to look nice)
Frosted JUST the honeycomb
Painted a black border on the OUTSIDE (painting on the inside kept pulling off when we tried to seal them.
CLEAR COATED the entire outside so the black still felt like it was UNDER the lens.

No, I didn't like the redundant posts about issues we had fixed but no one wanted to read through a crap ton of pages and find out for themselves lol.
