Not that I was unsure before now of your ignorance on the topic at hand..... You took all doubt away from it.

Maybe if you got a little serious you would learn a thing or two... Or not.

What do I know though, I don't even have fog lights.

Good luck buddy.

Please do a retrofit. PnP HID's is the ultimate ricer image IMO. They just blind everyone and offer sub-par output.

I don't want projectors, and I don't want a retrofit. mind boggling isn't it.

You can write a few essays about your feelings towards hid kits, but if a moderator and sparky couldn't change my mind 5 years ago your just wasting finger strength

well when you blind someone and they wreck into you you'll sing a different tune.

Also as someone who used to do a P-N-P kit, the whole purpose of HID lighting is to get BETTER lighting, well guess what, PROJECTORS put the light in the right place so you actually have USABLE light.

But you're not gonna listen to reason or common ******* sense, so I'll end it there.

Please tell me that red hot fool got banned.

There aren't many people on here I cringe when I see them post... He is number 1.

Probably the biggest tool/fool on the pages.

Know just enough to try to hold an argument... Doesn't know anything close to enough to intelligently prove his point (one because he is almost always wrong).

You're right. The fact that you enjoy useless and blinding headlights IS mind boggling. There's stubborn, and then there's just downright stupid. I'm learning towards the latter.

They don't blind anyone and they are brighter than stock. I like how you all have no experience with these lights but damned if you don't have an opinion.

You assume too much.

I personally do have first hand experience with HID in reflector housings - someone else coming the other way. It sucks. I will grant you the Camaro housings aren't near as bad as some cars out there (90s Hondas are definitely worse), but yes, they still do glare and suck for other cars.

99-05 mustangs and most f-250's from the past 10-15 years are worse.

Just to stir up the pot a bit, don't the 98-02 camaros come with projector fog lights? I know they are halogen projectors but they're still projectors, yes? I would like to see a cutoff from a camaro fog light with a halogen bulb and then side by side comparison with an hid bulb in it as well.

it would be the same since the cutoff shield is built into the projector and not the bulb itself..

Yeah they do. No issues putting HIDs in the fogs except since they weren't designed for it the output probably isn't ideal. But, they seem to be kinda crappy for output anyway lol.

Which brings me to my next point, why all the hate from these posters saying stuff about putting an hid bulb in a proper fog projector?

Topic got off track to headlights again.

But also apparently HIDs don't always fit in the housings very well on the Camaros. I've never tried. Putting them in the fogs in the birds is bad for the same reason as the headlights, just throws light where it doesn't belong. Plus there have been a lot of reports of melted plastic housings from them as well.
