Auto-dimming RVM Is it easy to wire up an auto-dimming rear view mirror to replace the standard mirror?
I was looking at the new Camaro frameless mirrors with auto dimming but the downside is that it doesnt have the map light function.
anybody else upgraded the rear view mirror?

I swaped mine out for one from a 2008 hhr has auto dimming, compass, and led map lights then I added a red led point towards shifter area like many new cars have. It wasnt hard to figure out the wiring

went to the scrapyard yesterday and found one out of an 06 Impala SS..
wired it up and it works like a charm... excellent upgrade..
will get some pics tomorrow
