Default ? About map light LEDs

So I ordered some LEDs off of superbrightleds.com for my gauge cluster and the map lights on the mirror. According to their website (and all of the threads on it here) it's a festoon bulb p/n 4410-x9-CAR. I pulled my mirror and popped the cover off, the factory bulb definitely does NOT have the same socket as this.

So what gives? Am I just looking at the wrong light or something? Anyone know what bulb type to use with the lights on the mirror? The socket looks similar to that of the gauge cluster LEDs....

And since I have these two 4410s, where the heck do they go in the car?

I believe it depends on the year as to what bulb the map light runs
I believe that everytihing up to 2000 runs the festoon bulb and 01 and up are 194 type wedge sockets.

Im sure you could post them in the sales section to get rid of them. or install them in another car....... if you could find some festoon housings you could make some foot well lights out of them.

I'll probably do the foot well lighting with them. Shouldn't be too difficult to modify the covers on the bottom of the dash to house them.

Still annoying lol. No thread or website ever made that distinction lol

mine had the festoon type, didn't like the output of the leds that were available, I saw that in my wifes' car (2003 Cavalier LS Sport) they have the same mirror as the late 2001-02 Camaros/Firebirds with the 194 bulbs. So I picked one up at the junkyard and couldn't be happier with the output. Just a thought.
