LS1 Piston Display First Try Since grenading my original LS1 engine, my 8 pistons have been kicking around collecting dust. After many Crown Royal and Coke Zero's i decided to build a display for one of the decent pistons remaining.
I welcome thoughts as this is my first go around.

I took an old plaque, ripped the brass face off, cleaned it and sprayed it black.
I then took a piece of very thin wood panelling and cut it around 1" wide by 5" long and used that as the "plate' between the piston base
I cut a 2"x2" piece of wood as pegs (times 2) and used those as the legs to suspend the base of the piston off the black plaque. Holes were drilled where the pistons bolts needed to go.
