Door panels Has anyone ever or can it be done on a 2000-2002 trans am convert a standard door panel to a deluxe one? I got the oppunituy to buy a non cracked standard one at a cheap price but my car has deluxe. Thanks Jeff

Or do it yourself. I followed instructions on line on how to disassemble the door panels and put silver upholstery cloth where the stock black /dark-gray cloth was (I have a Formula with the standard interior). I don't have the link on this PC and I think the original site is gone, but there are others and even on here if you search. Some people have even wrapped the plastic in vinyl. Search and ye shall find.
If your talking about converting the speaker from the standard single speaker to the version that had a speaker and a tweeter, yes that can be done. The speaker panels are plastic welded to the door panel in the same manner the cloth or leather insert panel is.
