4th Gen complete interior cost?
Hello,
I am finally in the serious planning stages to restore my 1996 Z28 SS. I was the original owner and bought the car back after 11 years. The previous owner smoked, plus the car is 20 years old. Just curious if anyone has replaced a full interior (carpet, seat covers). To make it more difficult, my interior is the neutral color with leather seats. I am trying to make it as close to factory as possible, both quality and color. If anyone has been down the road, I was just curious of the cost. Thank you.

Well if you look at the big pieces, there only a few.
seats, door panels,carpet, and headliner.
Do you need to do interior plastics like dash board & center console?
For seats, many people had very good experience with a non sponser so I won't post links.
Search for lethal interior on the web.
They do seats & door panels.
Then there is a sponsor called redlinegoods that does custom door panels, shift boots, steering wheel wraps.

Thanks
Thanks for the reply. I am hoping that I can get away with just doing the carpet and seats. If needed I will do the headliner, but most of the plastic is in good shape. It is good to finally come up with a plan after all these years. It is sad to see some of these Fbodys needing repair, but I guess that is expected after 20 years. Unfortunately they are not old enough to have the parts readily available, and they are too old to have the parts from GM.

I just replaced everything in my 97TA.
Used carpet from ebay in great shape - $80.
Seats, new from sponsor and new covers for rear 3 pieces (2 bottom cushions and back piece) were $1000
Headliner new was $150
I took every interior part out, wet sanded and repainted with SEM paint.
Paint and supplies - $100.
New sunvisors - $125.
All said and done about $1500, which isn't bad really. I also put down sound deadener at the time since everything was out but that's another $200.
