Paint question: how much?

Paint question: how much? I'm about to repaint my '99 Z28. I've done it before on other cars, and the method I used was to order a ton of base enamel, and a ton of clearcoat. This time, however, the paint I'm going to use is almost $300 per pint. No WAY I'm ordering via my usual method. Can anyone tell me how much paint is needed to cover our cars (assume five coats)?

They used 5 pints of bright red base to cover my hood, front fender, rear fenders, deck lid, and spoiler that just got painted 3 days ago (install of a SS hood and SS wing). That was $74 per pint. So probably another quart to cover the rest of the car. That does not include the reducer or the clear coat. That was 2 coats of base.
