Default Smaller steering wheel?

Has anyone put an aftermarket, or even smaller GM wheel in their fbody? This is a muscle car not a bus

Have a sparco wheel on my car. I love it, but when I hop in my 02 it does feel like I am driving a bus.

Ever been in a muscle car? Your steering wheel is smaller then most muscle cars. Try driving a Chevelle or a First Gen... those are closer to being bus steering wheels.

Try a '56 Bel-Air I would have given ANYTHING for a bus steering wheel (and power brakes) Great shoulder workout though, cut down the amount of days I had to go to the gym

Hey I've got a question

Blue Meanie you may be able to answer this.

I want to put a second gen. steering wheel in a forth gen.

I was wondering what spline the forth gen steering wheel is
second gen is a 36. so i'm hoping it'll be the same
looking to lose some weight and eliminate the air bag and radio controls
also anyone know where i can get an adapter if need be?

Not necessarily...my brother has a non airbag aftermarket wheel and he did inform his insurance company about it just to be sure he'd still be covered and it was no problem...he just pays a very slight amount higher because of it I think.

Default wheel

I have a Momo Team 11.8 inch in mine, goes right in with the hub adapter kit, check out a company called Ltb Motorsports, they have the wheels and adapters, they also carry sparco stuff. The smaller wheel is a little more difficult to turn but nothing too bad, for now I still have power, we will see how it is once the madman manual rack goes in. Hope this helps.

Really? State Farm told me I could not get normal insurance coverage if I did that. I'd have to get specialty vehicle insurance and pay out the *** for it.
