Default want to get rid of the paint

I bought a set of used LT tails for cheap, and wanted to try and refurbish them, previous owner must have had a dark green TA as he painted the tails a light shade of dark green, any way to remove the paint from these without destroying the lens? Thanks

You could wet sand them then polish the plastic lens back out. The paint is thin, I bet you'd go through it rather quickly.

What he said. If you stay around 400 grit and go up you would not worry about messing them up.
