Leather seat dye I have a 98 z28 that I just picked up recently. Its a black comvertible with grey leather seats. There was what I thought to be a stain on the drivers bottom seat cushion. My wife looked online to see the best way to possibly get the stain out. Come to find out the seat bottom is not stained it is the grey dye rubbing off. The original leather color is a burgundy not grey.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? If someone dyed the original seats they did an amazing job, as all the backs and edges and carpeted sections are grey.
