Default Scuff and Shoot Question

Im not a body guy, that being said. I'm considering doing a scuff and shoot on my car since I need to repair the rear bumper urethane and the front bumpers paint is spider webbed from a Porcupine that decided to play a game of frog'er. That being said other then a few small scratches and one deep one on the passenger door to the primer the paint overall is in awesome condition. I really don't want to blend so I am considering a scuff and shoot paint job. I have a couple of questions.

1: Do I need to primer the entire car after scuffing off the clear or just the areas that might have a rock chip or two plus the one deep scratch?

Any tips for a better over all paint job would be greatly appreciated. I will being spraying the factory color using PPG Omni+

you dont need to prime the whole car, just epoxy bare metal areas. Then fill prime and block out imperfections.
