Default 1 more Question?

Here is my line up of exterior products, the Mothers is a left over from the change. I did the clean up and it looks Great. My question is about maintaining. The car is my DD and I want it to look as good as I can get it without having to spend an enormous amount of time every week doing it. I spent about 5 hours yesterday cleaning the car. I did......
Wash
Clay bar
Compound
Wax
Buff.

My question is.... Next Saturday should I wash then Wax again or does the QuickWax actually put a coat of wax on the car sufficient to keep her looking good? Opinions Welcome.

Did you do those steps in the order listed?
What compound did you use?
What machine did you use to compound and polish?

That wax you used does not last long at all.
I would use meguiars# 21 synthetic sealant 2.0.
much better protection and a better/ deeper shine.

OK Thank You for your reply and when I run out of the product line that I am currently using I will look at switching. However back to my original question....... Next Saturday should I wash then Wax again or does the QuickWax actually put a coat of wax on the car sufficient to keep her looking good?

With your current wax that you are using you will have to wax every few weeks because it does not last long. That's why I suggested the paint sealant that is just as easy to apply but lasts much longer. The quick spray wax will help a bit for looks but does not do much for protection or longevity.

OK Guy's since I still have a good supply of Megiuar's products, after some extensive research I will be going with this. It comes with some good reviews, not sure about 1 Year though.

I believe the word "Wax" is used a a Verb.

That is more along the lines of a paint sealant that I was talking about. The meguiars gold is a "natural" wax where as the ultimate is more of a synthetic sealant that will last a LOT longer. It won't last a year but depending on how you wash your vehicle it will last a couple months +. Imo it will give a brighter clearer shine and last much longer.
