New Camaro Project
The car has been parked at my shop since I brought it home about 3 weeks ago while I started gathering parts for it. I did notice the oil pressure gauge bouncing around and being very inconsistent. I figured the oil pressure sending unit was broke so I pulled off the intake with plans on replacing it along with intake and valve cover gaskets. I could clearly see rtv around the valve cover gaskets and there was oil residue and grime everywhere. When I pulled the intake off I was amazed at all the crap that was under there and on the heads. It took a little time but I got it all cleaned up, ditched all the emissions crap and replaced all the gaskets and sending unit.
So far I have gathered a bunch of tasteful mods but I'm still on the look out for a SS spoiler and SS hood. I contemplated buying a Sunoco hood but I just can't get myself to like it enough to purchase. Plans are to paint the roof white as well. I have bmr springs and koni strt shocks to install this week along with a founders rears suspension package. I finished retrofitting some h1 projectors in the stock housing so those will be complete after I align the projector horizontally. Also picked up a brakemotive rotor and pad package. Tires arrived last week. CCW LM20 centers I already had and lips and barrels to make a set of 17x10 and 17x11 wheels will arrive next week.
I have a few more other ideas I'm bouncing around to make this car looks sharp. I'll post up more pics as parts come in or I make progress.

Thanks!
love your Corvette as well!
Keep the updates coming! Can't wait to see how this turns out!
Been tied working on my FRC but I found a little time to remove the exhaust to get it read for the true dual kit I just ordered from speed engineering. Installed the rear koni shocks, lcas, rotors and pads. I was given a free oem ss hood with a little damage that I'll have repaired and painted. I also had the Nitto 555 G2 tires mounted and balanced on the LM20s. This thing should look pretty sick when I'm done with it.
