painting rear bumper

I wanted to paint the bottem of my rear bumper on my ta but Im not sure how I would go about it. If anyone has any advise, preperation tips, type of paint, primer used(if any) etc, please post. I don't want to try this not knowing anything.

I would take it to a bodyshop so they can do it. Make sure they put alot of flex additive so the bumper will not chip with the rock's since the bumper is right behind the tire's. I would not try to paint it not knowing much about body work.

i was hoping that i would not have to take it to a body shop. i know some people on here have done this to their trans ams i just need some help from them

I got a quote for $160 to have it done by a reputable shop. That included removing the bumper. $125 to have it done without rempving the bumper, though he advised against that. Well worth it if you ask me.
