Cabin air filter My 1994 Trans Am GT has a bad case of old car smell. Do these have cabin air filters than can be changed/cleaned?
Alternately, the carpet is new. I purchased and ran an ozone generator with the AC unit running both to no avail. Any other ideas?

No cabin filter. With a new carpet and the a/c being OK, that doesn't leave many possibilities. I'm sure you have thoroughly cleaned and detailed all the plastic interior parts as well. The visors are cloth-like if I remember right so check those for deterioration. The seats should not be an issue hopefully. I remember once many many years ago when I still had my 1996 Formula, a mouse built a nest in the engine compartment. The smell was musty and nasty even after the nest was removed. It just took awhile for the odor to clear out. The nest was actually inside by a heater fan or similar??? I just can't remember but I certainly remember the mechanic bringing it out to me to see for myself.

An Ozone Generator is is a Deodorizer. It is also an Oxidizer. be careful with concentration level around rubber and other components that could get extra wear.
Used cars dealerships and some detailers use Ozone to get rid of bad smells. They also use coconut oil, but that leaves behind a coconut scent.
