Gauge install for Trans Temp

Gauge install for Trans Temp I am not sure if I am in the right spot... 
I am planning a TC install and need to install a Trans Temp guage and need help indeciding the appropriate guage and installation help.

I am planning on using the middle of the 3 vents in the center of my dash for the guage and do not want a guage pillar. I need to know what size would go into the vent and if there is a site that gives installation instructions.
Any help would be great. It sounds like the guage comes with the cable and attachment to the tranny to start using immediately but I am a complete Noob when it comes to this.

let me have your email. i have this done but put it in the guage next to the door. your gonna need 2 5/8 to fit in the vent.
if you need help putin it in we could work sumthn out, or i could swing by. now that i have done it, the install aint to hard. let me kno

I was hoping to find one that had an all black case and face with a red light.

The Autometer Z series gauges are all black, black face, with an optional green and red light cover. I think that's what you're looking for. I was thinking about gettin the same ones to keep with the red light theme in the car.
