Removing paint from a LS6 intake
Removing paint from a LS6 intake I recently picked up a LS6 intake in great shape but the previous guy painted it red. I was wondering what the least damaging and easiest way to remove it from the surface and returning it to stock would be.

I had a C5 vette that the PO had painted the intake and fuel rail covers. But it was a cheap spray can job. The best thing that worked for me was Oreillys brake parts cleaner. We use it at work and its some wicked stuff. cleaner and a toothbrush worked for me. I didn't want to use use anything too harsh. Intakes can get pretty pricey.
