Paint vs. Powdercoating Calipers

Mine are currently painted, but I wonder what the pros and cons are of each. For instance, is powdercoating less prone to scratching or gouging than paint?

hey

as a powdercoater i will answer on this one.. powdercoating is more durable thatn paint it is less apt to scratch, flake or ding... There as many colors of powdercoat and maybe more than typical paints.. From glow in the dark to normal blacks... hope that answers your questions

glow in the dark calipers would be pretty ricey i think, but i agree, powdercoating would be more durable than painting and less likely to cahnge color, fade, flack or anything due to the heat
