You'll have to draw your own conclusions about possible issues if you've contacted MAGG Performance and can't get a response. I'd try phone, email and social media etc.
Remember buyer-beware-6le-designs? 6LE had a horrible reputation for the last couple of years and allegedly ripped off many customers. My understanding is the 6LE guy is partnered with MAGG Performance on some products.
I'd contact the card credit company and tell them I want a refund. They will work to get your parts, or your money, into your hands.
Best wishes and let us know the outcome please. It will help others etc.
I have put in an order from them a few months ago and have yet to receive product or an email response. Did I just give away 400 dollars.
A few months ago? I doubt a credit card company would do much for you at this point, assuming that was your payment method. There is a time limit to contest a charge, I think it's like ~60 days IIRC. It might be different if you had documentation showing that your order was back-ordered for all this time, or it was part of a long term, ongoing project which then became disputed, or something that would explain why it took so long to begin the dispute process. But if there has been no contact and no reasonable explanation for why you haven't investigated this after several months, I wouldn't expect them to be very helpful after so much time has passed.
Your most likely options now are to either get them to send your product (or a refund), or consider legal action if they refuse to do so (or won't respond).
I've ordered two items from Magg in the past few years and each showed up in the time frame they said. Quality was good on one and a little below average on the other
IMHO,,,
If your a business taking payment for an order.. You better be prepared to deliver. If you can't you better be prepared to communicate.
The 19 covid excuses are done in my book. it's been 2 years,, learn to deal or don't charge me till you get confirmation it's shipping.
If I get no communication I don't even ask I just call my card company and get the money back... Email isn't THAT hard..
I like to think that every business goes into business to provide a service and to take care of their customers to the best of their ability. I completely understand a backlog considering the supply environment. I didnt send status email till 1 month after order since the web site said ships withing 2-3 weeks. Jeff was very responsive, since I had ordered from him before i expected some delay. He said there was a issue with the supplier and he was behind so i gave it 2 weeks till a follow email... provide order number and question if there an update. I have since sent a message once a week for status. Mind you the order was placed on 18 July. I don't want a hoopla I just want the part.. I even offered someone to pick it up since my daughter is in Florida and he is located in Orlando. My issue is you can change your out of office to say your in a hurricane and orders are delayed but you cant reply to an email.
I dont want to go ballistic because that will not help me get my CME. Im just trying to finish a project that I just dumped 15,000 grand in.
Picture for reference:
Figured out that maggperfomance just waits till the purchase can not be disputed and stops responding. I think Ill just wait till i go see my daughter and visit their Florida registered business addressed. I could post his personal information, but I believe that is unhealthy for anyone in today's climate.
If anyone else would like to visit his registered address.
I came looking for information about this company since I anticipated ordering an expensive hood from them.
Then, I realized I had actually gotten my ground effects splitter from them with no issue. You can see it installed on my car.
I recently ordered some more stuff from them... I received it.
I don't know all what happened in the past, but since I saw someone resurrected this thread by posting in it, I thought I'd share my positive experience. I did communicate with the vendor by email and they communicated back... even adjusted a website issue I noted.
I think it would be unfair to post innuendos and speculation about a company. Personal experience is one thing. But rumor mill and gossip is never good.
Agreed with above poster. I ordered a carbon fiber sail panel from them last year and received it in 3 weeks In good condition. Excellent communication, I wouldn’t hesitate to order again from them again.
The fact that I ordered a Wicker Bill spoiler thing from Hawks for around $230 out the door and Magg/Iroc sells the exact same thing for almost $500 sounds really really fishy
