Default Colorbond makeover...

I recently had the passenger side leather seat back split on me. I ordered just the one piece of leather and had it installed. The new back was darker than the seat bottom and was noticeable. I started looking at dyes to make the bottom darker and stumbled on Colorbond LVP. It's an OEM approved product in a bunch of OEM colors. It comes in a spray can and is used like a spray paint. They suggest using above 60 degrees but it worked fine in mid 50 degree temps. I applied about 6 mist coats over the seat back and bottom and it all blended together to turn out better than I though it would. They claim it dries in under a minute and reapply coats every 10 minutes. After allowing about 6 hours of dry time I installed the seat and wiped it down with Zaino Z10 conditioner. I did remove a slight bit of color which I assume to be overspray that didn't bond. They claim a 4 year lifespan. This can be used on Leather, Vinyl and Plastic. I used it to touch up the headliner and I think it could be used on carpet as well. It's easy to use but does smell so use in a well ventilated area.
