Default Correct part# for radio bezel ?

I have a 2002 SS and I’m looking for a replacement radio bezel (in as close to perfect condition as possible) the part # on my radio bezel is 10300958/10300956. I know that all 97-02 have the same bezel but obviously different colors.

if I’m not mistaking……

97-99 have dark charcoal interior
2000-2002 have the black/ebony interior

heres my question, I’m seeing 3 different part numbers when I search for a replacement radio bezel

10271309- dark charcoal
10415539LF/10415660LF70 - black (ebony?)
10300956/10300958 -ebony black

are there 2 different shades of black for our interior radio bezels ? Just want to make sure. Thanks in advance everyone

Not sure on all the different part numbers, it could be that some were superseded over the years. GM has changed part numbers on a lot of items for these cars, sometimes more than once. But you are correct in your breakdown:

1997-99 is Dark Gray
2000-02 is Ebony

There was only one shade of Ebony offered, and it was the same for all models 2000-02 so any bezel from those years will interchange and match perfectly. Just an FYI, GM's "Ebony" color wasn't truly black (this becomes very noticeable if you compare it to any car with an actual black interior), it was just a very dark charcoal gray.

Lastly, here's a really nice one for sale in the Marketplace that I happened to stumble on. It's listed for 1997-2000, but that's not correct. It's either '97-99 or '00-01 (can't be from an '02 in this case as it doesn't have the 35th Anniversary badge). It's hard to tell if it's the Dark Gray or Ebony color in that pic, but I see that the seller has a 2000 SS in his sig so if it's from that car then it would be a match. You could also have him confirm the part numbers if you're interested:
