If you want the same look, get LMC Truck Housings and drop-in LED bulbs.
If you want projectors or HID, there are other options as well. Do a search on here and you'll find some however most require some work. A quick and simple setup uses Hella 60mm projectors and custom brackets (which is essentially one of the BLS options. You can buy the complete BLS Kit or source most of the parts yourself - the brackets are on ebay).
For a Camaro...
I haven't seen other good options in a while. Most setups use a low quality H1 Projector. Depending on the brand, you can open up the headlights and replacewith a better H1 projector or other bulb-type projector. Some people are satisfied with the low quality projector and putting in HID or LED. Others end up with a bad beam.
Some of the aftermarket projector housings use H3 bulbs. Skip those. You won't get as good an output from those and installing LED or HID won't give the desired results.
What BLS does is modify a set of aftermarket stock replicas and installs good projectors. If you search on here and elsewhere, you can see how it is done and determine if you want to try yourself. Otherwise, the BLS kit is good.
Drop-In LEDs (either car)
Make sure the LEDs you get have the LEDs arranged in a thin line simulating the original bulb filament and aim/clock them correctly - LEDs should face side-to-side, not up-down - avoid any blobs or other shapes. Check the resulting beam pattern to make sure it looks correct and stock-like. Any altered beam blob is bad.
