Default Windshield sizes 2002 convertible vs coupe

Looking at purchsing a sun shade from covercraft for my 02 Camaro convertible. At checkout, there is only 1 option (coupe), so I contacted the company to ask if the sun shade would fit. I was told that the windshield on the convertibles is slightly smaller than that of the coupes. Can anyone shed some light on this or does anyone happen to have a covercraft sun shade for their convertible that can share how the fitment is. Thanks everyone

I've always been under the impression that there are no factory convertibles, they're all aftermarket so there should be no production difference.
A convertible is a TTop car with the roof removed from the front edge of the TTop back.

No, the 4th gen F-body convertibles were absolutely made by GM, on their assembly line. Here is photographic evidence from the final day of production at the Ste. Therese plant where all of these cars were assembled. You can see a white Trans Am convertible as well as the final vehicle, a red Z28 convertible, mixed in with the T-top cars:

With that said, I honestly do not know if there is any difference in the windshield dimensions from coupe to convertible, but I doubt it. My gut feeling is that CoverCraft is wrong but, again, I can't say this with 100% certainty.

I asked a buddy of mine with a local auto glass shop now per their information same windshield T top or rag top. There is a slight difference in the reveal molding around the windshield but thats irrelevant for getting the sun shade you are after.
