I need to snap the on car pics tonight as I didnt finish till late last night due to some fun throttle body sealing issues

What did kind of paint did you use for the intake? I might paint mine just like that too since I'm sick of the grey.

A special plastic primer that you can get at most higher end paint shops, then just a normal automotive grade acrylic paint

i would have sanded that thign smooth and clearcoated on top of the paint, looks 100 times nicer IMO.

thats what i have done with all intakes i've done in th past, including LsX.

what happened with the TB?

I think the flat black looks great though, if it was sanded, it be very "sneaky".

*Edit, the engine bay pics on your site are busted.

I think it looks good the way you have it. Main benefit is that you won't have to clean it everytime a little dirt gets on it.

thats what i have done with all intakes i've done in th past, including LsX.

what happened with the TB?
I just wanted the OE look... not big on flash or anything right now, but I did actually plan on sanding it down after my direct port kit goes on and I paint the valve covers...

oh, and with the TB it just wasnt sealing onto the manifold... RTV and VERY tight bolts fixed that
