Well...Tried cleaning up the headlights.
Yeah, I TRIED cleaning up the headlights. Just started(and ended) with tha small area on the passenger side lense. Well I sure as hell was able to get that yellow off of it. However, at the same time scratched it to a slight haze even after some plastic stuff from blue magic and some polish. I don't know exactly what my problem was. I wasn't using actual sandpaper, instead I used some kind of sponge that was rated at 150 from 3M. I kept it wetted down nice the whole time. Maybe I just didn't sand it down enough? Maybe that thing was too coarse for the job? Certainly didn't seem to be . Anway, I think I'll opt to just get some halos and be done with it. What can I do to prevent the hazing with the new headlights? Polish and wax them like I would the rest of my car?
TIA,
Justin

you are gonna need to get some 1500/2000 grit paper and go to work. Start w/ the 1500 and keep it wet, once you can't see antmore scratches go w/ the 2000 and finish up w/ some plastic polish.

Hey everyone, I appreciate the posts. As I said in my first post I didn't use sandpaper. Some type of sanding sponge. I don't think they are rated the same as sand paper because it seemed the less the number the coarser(more coarse?) they got. It still probably isn't quite as fine as a 1500 or 2000 grit though. I'll probably try it out again but this time with an actual sanding block and some 1500 grit. If that doesn't work I'll try the finer 2000. If still no luck, LS1_ss you have first dibs, cause I'm going with halos.
