detailing help! ok tommorrow im washing/waxing my car and i need some help, im a true n00b to this stuff so here goes:
here is a list of stuff that i already have:
Megiars Deep Crystal System Carnuba wax
Megiars cleaner*Wax -(not sure what this is for)
Megiars professional swirl remover 2.0
i need to use the swirl remover because i have a ton!
so theres what i have, now what else do i need that i can get from the local auto zone? also, how and in what order do i use them? once again im a complete newb, so any help and instructions are appreciated!

When working by hand, don't expect miracles for removing swirls. Proper prep work is the key to having a great finish. Things like towels, mitts, etc. are very important, but good ones are hard to find locally.
Your best bet for an Auto Zone shine is going to be:
Clay Magic claybar kit
Meguiar's Scratch X or your 2.0
Meguiar's NXT
Optional supplies:
Meguiar's NXT car wash or Eagle One Wet car wash
Eagle One Wax As You Dry or Meguiar's Quik Detailer
Viking Microfiber towels
Procedure:
Wash
Clay
Wash
Polish (swirl removal)
Seal
You can use the cleaner wax on things like door jambs, under the hood, etc. If you feel compelled, you can top the NXT with the carnauba.

what exactly does the clay do? seems like using a little thing of clay over the whole car would take forever

Did you not read any of those links? They explain how to polish and how to clay. Claying takes 30 minutes - 1 hour depending on the condition of your car. You get out of your finish what you put in to it.
You can use the carnauba instead of NXT, but don't expect it to last as long.
Sealing is waxing, but with a sealant like NXT.
