I do it as needed; usually once every week or two. Excessive washing will only lead to surface marring (ie. swirls). It is nearly inevitable.

Usually once a week. It rains so often and there is always construction... I usually wash it (even if it rains) just to get the oils off. Around here, it is hard to keep it clean.

Mine isn't a daily driver so I just dust it off with a California Duster before I drive it on the weekends. Keeping the car waxed helps the dust come off right away. Then I just spray some Zaino Spray on it and dry it with some microfiber towels that I picked up at Wal Mart the other day. Twice a week isn't bad though.

Our weather sucks. Try having a black car and keep it clean with our weather!

I wash it once a week with the Mr Clean Auto Dry and spray it with NXT Tech Booster wax once a week. Hand wash it and use NXT Tech Wax once a month.

Once a week if I can get away with it. If gets too dirty or it rains and makes it look bad I will wash it again. Sometimes its difficult to find the time to do it, but I manage to work it out somehow. I don't think you are crazy at all for washing it twice a week. I use the Mr. Clean Auto Dry system, which I found really works great (And I have always been particular about this type of thing!)

Actually, mine needs waxed soon!

Usually about once per week. Quick wax job about once a month or so. Full clay/polish twice a year.
