I think it looks way better on a black car. If my car was black, I would take the hassle to paint them. It looks 10x better than the stock chrome look.

Well I just did it over the weekend, and I must say...It looks awesome. Those of you that say it looks best on a black camaro, wait till I get my pictures, sebring silver is by far the best contrast. It makes the car look meaner, it matches the black top, and will go with my berger panel when I do that in a few weeks. I will take pics hopefully on Wednesday. I cant wash my baby till then and I dont want to take/post up dirty pictures. Think what that will do to my reputation...anyway, keeping yall waiting till then.

it does give the car a more "sinister " look . someone mentioned it would look best on a black car , i agree. that whole"stealth "look rules!

I think this mod looks really great, and have been contemplating it for a long time. I think sometime this week I'll have the stomach to bake my headlights. If all goes well, it should be well worth it.

You've got one of the best looking F-Body's I've seen. Not too much flashy crap and I love the color. I wanted that color but had to settle for Sunset Orange b/c they gave me $6000 off and wanted full price for the orange.
The tint really looks good I'm gona do it to my SS Orange and will post picts.

Did you follow the above noted directions? Did you buy tinted lenses? I think I'll go darker on mine.

Thanks for sharing your car.

Where can you buy other head/tail lights? Mine r messed up. Do you think red paint on a red car would look dumb? Do you have to use high temp paint? Anyone interested in blackouts?

No you dont have to use high temp paint. I would go with black only because I think it is the only color that looks good inside headlights but I guess if you dont like the color you can always paint over it. I do remember a long time ago when this mod first started being done some guy painted his headlights blue on a blue car, I didnt care for the look.

Ive had mine done for about a year and a half, hell I took these headlights off my 99 after it was totaled. They still look like the day I painted them. To me I think every Camaro should have this done.
