CHROME BILLET GRILLE & 69 EMBLEM Car is leaving the paint shop soon, so Im doing a last minute scramble for appearance parts. Looking for a good deal on a Chrome Billet Grille and a blue bowtie emblem for the grille, from a 69 camaro. Before I paid $135 for a black Carriage Work Grille and thought was expensive and $45 for a 68 camaro bowtie.
First of all you don't want the 69 Camaro emblem you want the 69 Chevelle emblem. It fits with no alterations. I would have to say the only way to get a deal on this stuff would be to either find it on E-Bay as I did or to find it in the 4-Sale space on this forum. Chances are you will not find the Emblem but you may be able to find the Grille. Last time I checked the Emblem was back-ordered for some 6 to 12 weeks. I happened to find mine through a place in Centralia Wa. for $48.00. Kind of pricey but good Quality ****. Hope you find what you are looking for.
