Plastic Cleaner/Polish

I remember someone saying that after they got their clear lid they took plastic polish to it to clean it up somewhat. I just got mine in, and I got it cheap because it isn't in great shape but I just want to see how nice I can get it. Anyone know of a type of plastic cleaner/polish I could use?

Check out NAPA they sell a plastic polish by Meguires.

Plastx by Meguiars
or Novus plastic polish which can be found at a Container Store
or any light polish can remove the swirls too like Poorboys ssr1, ssr2
