Default LS1 Interior in LT1

My buddy has a 96 TA and wants my 99 WS6 seats and is eventually going to convert his interior from tan to dark grey. He is also converting from an LT1 interior to LS1 interior, he wants to know if there are any hangups. Does all the interior bolt in or are any differeneces in clips or anything in general? He already has a LS1 center console by the way. TIA.

It is a very simple installation, unless you are changing dashes. Everything else (seats, side panels, door panels and carpet) mounts the same way.

A buddy of mine put a '98 Z28 interior in to his '94Z. Everything bolted right up, but the gauge cluster doesn't work quite right. He needs a '97 cluster. The fuel gauge doesn't work, the Low Oil light doesn't quite work right, and... I can't remember what else, but I think there was something.

I borrowed that car for a while, learned that it only got about 275 miles on a tank of gas - the hard way.

anything is possible.
We have 4th gen interior in our 3rd gen.
It's had the LT1 dash and now the LS1 dash.

on a firebird, its EASY, as you don't need to swap dashes.
