Default Should I do these ghost flames?

All these resto car shows like OVERHAULIN' are starting to brainwash me, flames are "in" big time. I photoshopped some ghost flames on my SS. Opinions please.

Easy to do in any Photoshop program. I found a red PT Cruiser with flames pic in Google and used the "clone" tool at 50% transparency to transfer it to my car.

Looks pretty sweet.

I have an idea I've been mulling over that I think would be cool.

What would y'all think of ghost flames with a thin painted pinstripe, on this car, a couple of shades darker red, just to help set them off a bit.

That would look sweet, I think, just an idea, they'd look good like they are in that pic too tho!

ghost flames are ghost flames, pinstripes takes away the whole idea of ghost flames.

I'd put them all over the hood as well as off the front tires, but besides that they look sweet. The ONLY flames that work IMO are ghost flames. Maybe one day on my car....

You have inspired me! I was thinking of something like that as well. My wife and I have a shop where we can do alot of this stuff. Unfortunately (or fortunately is more like it) we are so busy we don't have alot of time for our "personal" stuff. However as I said, I now feel inspired to make the time. Now to come up with something original..... .....hmmmmm. Post up after you've done it, ay. Gotta go play in photoshop!

I think the flames will look great on the SS. I will eventually put some on my NBM WS6. I'm thinking silver.
