Default Custom Baldwin Motion/Eleanor hood?

I was thinking about getting a new hood for my car since my steel stock one is looking pretty shitty and since I want to reduce some weight and make my car a bit more unique. I haven't seen anything like it for '98-02 Camaros, but I was looking at the type of hood they used on the '70 1/2 Baldwin Motion Camaro and the 'Eleanor' Mustang. Does any one make a hood like this or could anyone?

Something like the one on the first car pictured at this site: http://perfauto.tripod.com/chevyhome.htm I don't know how well it would work on my car, but it's still an interesting thought. If i can't find anything I'll probably just pick up a 3" fiberglass cowl.

IMO the lines on the 4th gens are way too smooth for that, maybe an LT1, but no way on the LS1 front end. I know what you mean by wanting something different.

There was an edition of GMHTP I think, that had a guy with a red Z28 on the cover. He had a hood like that, only the scoop wasn't that long. It was sweet, but required a lot of custom fabricating to make it work.

Yeah, actually I was thinking that too, but just wanted to see if there was anything out there. My problem is I don't want an SS hood, because my car's not a true SS, and I don't care for the matching spoiler. I don't like the Ultra Z hood, just because it doesn't fit the car very well in my opinion. However, I do like the cowl hood...I just can't decide which height to go with. And with all the fabricating needed, I think I can 'settle' for a cowl. Thanks for the responses.

Hell yeah. So far, I like VFN's 2.5" cowl.

Hi.
Not sure if you are interested in our Stingray Hood for the newer Camaros. This has the same "motion stingray scoop" as the older style camaros - 67-69. You can view this by following this link: http://vfnfiberglass.com/01camarostinger.JPG
Thanks.

Yea, he was a member on LS1.com. I thought that it looked pretty good.
