Default Custom mesh grille inserts?

I'm finishing up the appearance mods (well, the first round) on my car, and so far I've removed all the badging (kept the side molding), got the silver Grand Sport stripes (driver's side only), silver rear CAMARO letters, and removed the stock plastic grille. I really like the way it looks with a totally glossy front end, but wanted some grilles to fill in the hole on each side. Does anyone make these, or do I have to make my own? I've seen them attached to grille inserts, but I only want the grilles. Please help if possible. Thanks as always.

I fabbed mesh inserts for my SS grille...I measured the mesh size on a Z06 and ordered a sheet of stainless steel mesh from McMaster-Carr:

The McMaster part number is 9319T532 (type 316 S/S woven wire cloth, 6x6 mesh, .035" wire dia, 12x12 sheet)

Here's a pic:

Is there a larger sheet of this mesh available? Like a 3x3 foot sheet.

Try part number 9319T416 on www.mcmaster.com

It is 36" wide, but you have to specify length and it's priced accordingly.

Do you just put the metal mesh against the styrafoam filler and then put the grille on in front of it?

Thank you,
Tracey

When I added the mesh to my SS grille, I epoxied a piece of firm polyurethane between the slots and bolted the mesh to it...here are a couple pics:

So the mesh is actually attached to the Grille and not the bumper at all. Did you remove the bumper cover to install the grille?

It's the SLP SS grille, so I just removed the insert and reattached it with new "pine tree" fasteners.
