Default Removing Scratches on the center console

Does anybody know how to remove/lower the appearence of scratches on the sides of the center concole, and holding trays on either doors of a T/A's interior?

Hmm, I haven't tried this personally, but I heard you can try to take a mini heat gun to it real quickly and then take a crushed peice of paper to try and 'texture' over the scratches.

I don't know if it works, since I've never tried it.
Anyone else heard of this? Or am I nuts?

The oil's in peanut butter are actually good to get wax off trim peices that won't come off. It might work to get rid of the fading look the scratches give to the plastic and make it less noticable... but any low gloss tire shine can do that to.

dunno how to fix them, but I took some velcro from a hobby shop and took the fuzzy side, cut to length, and attached it to the back of the seat belt piece that causes the scratches in the first place.
