Default Need help with window tint

I got a ticket for tinted windows on the way to the track yesterday morning.
I was planning on removing the tint for some time but just never got around to it I guess.
My first question is if I remove the tint and go to court what are my chances of the judge throwing the ticket out and not having to pay ? I have a clean driving record.
Second and most important question is how can I remove the tint without damaging or scratching the windows ? The tint job, by the previous owner, was done professionally at a shop.
thanks for any help and/or advice with the ticket
here a picture of the tint job:

The way to remove it is start at one corrner with a blade, pull the tint apart from one corner, and spray water between the tint and the window. Just start lightly scaping the tint off with the blade. I have done this many times it makes a mess all over your door panels but it works. Just use alot of paper towels and glass cleaner to clean the mess up.

Thanks !
I've been looking around the web this morning and found some good links:

I'm going to keep it simple and do it the way you suggested first.
I have a heat gun so maybe that will help speed things along?

Well took the tint off last night. Driver side came off in big sections which was nice but the passenger side came off in a single piece . Took all of 5 minutes to remove the passenger side including the glue, there wasen't much left behind.
There was alot left on the driver side window though.
I used a razor blade in one of the corners, as suggested above, and the tint easily peeled right off. Here's a tip for anyone removing window tint glue,
get some 3M Adhesive, Wax, & Mark Remover. It's safe for glass & vinyl surfaces and works GREAT. It has a nasty smell but this stuff WORKS. I used a shop rag and the trick is you need to keep turning a new section of the rag over as you go.
It made the job go alot faster.

I just wanted to add another easy way.I've done mine 3 times and the neighbors once. After i pulled the tint off i just used 409.Its easy to get and most people already have it.The glue just softens right up and comes right off with a blade.Just another route besides a heat gun and glue remover.
